Gimp is the free counterpart to Photoshop.

Gimp is really powerful. Use it for:

  • Artistic drawing
  • Photo moficications
  • Picture management
  • Web graphics
  • Video

Gimp doesn't handle yet CMYK and 48 bit colors.
